Hilltop Childrens' Center
Challenge: Hilltop Children’s Center boasted one of the nation’s most respected early-learning programs, but like many schools, limited resources meant leadership couldn’t make desired investments in programs, staff salaries and support. Also, the time intensive nature of the volunteer structure and fundraising process meant other conversations, like launching a national institute, didn’t get needed attention.
Results
With a step by step training for volunteers, the launch of a new CRM system, and guided implementation for staff, in the first year, revenue grew 200% with an 80% reduction in costs. In two years, staff and teacher pay grew by 20%, and the Center was in position to fulfill its dream of launching a national institute, which today is improving early childhood teacher training across the United States.
