Challenge: Like traditional media organizations everywhere, KUOW-FM, the nation’s 8th largest public radio station, faced the challenge of redefining itself in the age of the internet and rapidly shifting tastes in media consumption. With a new CEO and a mandate for change from the Board, KUOW-FM turned to Altruist for the thought partnership, strategic guidance, organizational development and execution tools needed to redefine its relevance to the community and launch new strategies for listener engagement and growth in both earned and contributed revenue.
